The Solander Trail  runs along or passes many waters suitable for canoeing or kayaking.

Blue trail: The Piteå River
Yellow trail: The wider part of the Piteå River, the stream Lillån
Light orange trail: The coastline near Kallax
Orange trail: The Alter River
Red trail: The coastline near Jävre
Berry red trail: The stream Aleån

Paddling guide gan be gotten from hte Tourist Offices in both municipalities. Canoes or kayaks can be rented from Guide Natura, Luleå Kajakklubb and Pitekajak. Bea's Hamncafé in Jävre rents simpler kayaks by the hour.
