The blue section measures 26 km and runs along the north side of the Piteå River, past the villages Arnemark, Böle, Pålberget, Sikfors and Stridholm.

Here the hiker will come in close contact with the Piteå River and its surrounding forests and fields. Part of the blue section makes up the first themed section of the trail, The Log Driver Path.

The blue section is home to two of the largest guest facilities along the trail, Sikfors Konferens & Fritidsby and Stormyrbergets Lantgård.
